Vision Eye Institute Mackay is a comprehensive ophthalmology clinic that delivers high-quality, specialist eye care to the local Mackay community and its surrounds.
Led by highly experienced ophthalmologists, our friendly clinical team specialises in diagnosing and treating retinal diseases, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and strabismus (crossed or turned eyes).
Our clinic also caters for patients requiring eyelid procedures and care for more general eye conditions.
In this role you will undertake Patient’s ophthalmic and medical history/Orthoptic assessment, clinical assessment and perform investigations such as visual field testing, OCT and angiography. You’ll also undertake Biometry and Corneal Topography, patient counselling, primary assessment and triage of referrals.
To be successful in this role you will bring excellent clinical skills, interpersonal skills and attention to detail as well as an Orthoptic/Optical qualification and current Australian Orthoptic Board registration.
